Surveying Camp

The Surveying camp was conducted from 7th to 12th January 2019 (six days, as per curriculum) for the students of B.E (Civil) 3/4 CBCS-VI semester. The students were grouped into 10 teams and were made to complete the following tasks during the camp (every day from 7.00AM to 1.00PM):
1. Plotting the longitudinal & Cross sectional profile of the given alignment.
2. Plotting the contour map of a given area and calculation of the reservoir capacity.
3. Finding the area of a given field using total station and also plotting the details.
4. Mapping the given area using hand held GPS.
5. Establishing benchmarks at required locations using Fly-leveling.
