Report on National Energy Conservation Week Celebrations 2018

National energy conservation celebration 2018 has-been inaugurated in M.V.S.R Engineering College inviting Sri. Sanjeeva Rao, IRSEE as chief guest. Dr. E.V.C.Sekhara Rao, convener, energy savers’ club has made to take oath from gathering regarding energy conservation. Head, department of EEE addressed the gathering regarding the department and college. The chief guest addressed the gathering about need of energy conservation and how energy conservation is in practice in railways. The chief guest was felicitated with shawl and memento by head, EEE department.
After inaugural conservation campus campaign was held with students of ZPHS, Badangipeta, Dilshukhnagar public school, badangipeta, staff and students of M.V.S.R. engineering college

Energy Campaign was held in Badibgipet municipal office. Dr. E.V.C.Sekhara Rao, convener, energy savers’ club has made to take oath from gathering regarding energy conservation. 9 W Led bulbs were distributed to the gathering by municipal commissioner Sri. Srirama Reddy Head master, ZPH school, Badangipet has made to take oath from students and staff regarding energy conservation. Energy quiz competition was held in ZPH school, Badangipet.

Energy Elocution, essay writing, drawing competitions were held to the students of ZPH school, Badangipet on Energy Conservation and project execution on Energy Conservation (IOT of Energy Conservation for home appliances) by Dilshuknagar public school, Badangipet.

Energy Seminar were delivered by two experts..
- Sri. R.Kannan Gopalakrishnan, TSECM member delivered technical seminar on need of energy conservation and techniques of energy conservation in different fields.
- Sri. P.Venkatesham Gupta, director, Vasavi wheels delivered technical seminar on retrofitting of IC engines by electric motor for green energy applications Products of Vasavi wheels (Electric two wheelers) were exposed to the students and staff of different schools

Valedictory function was celebrated inviting Sri. P.Venkatesham Gupta, director, Vasavi wheels as chief guest. Vice principal, Sri. S.G.S. Murthy complimented Energy Savers’ club and EEE department for successful completion of these celebrations involving surrounding schools & municipality. Certificates & Prizes (9W LED bulbs) were distributed to the winners of different competitions of different schools. The program was ended with national anthem.
