MBA Department Activities for the academic year 2012-13

ØConference/workshops/Guest lectures organized:

• A guest lecture by Prof.Kalyan Ram, Financial Analyst on overview of Financial Markets was organized on 27.9.12
• Orientation Program for MBA I yr students was conducted on 5.11.12. Prof. A.Vidyadher Reddy of Dept of Business Mgt, Osmania University was the Chief Guest for the program and addressed the students.
• A workshop on Stock Trading was organized for MBA students by Mr.G.Vinayak, Manager,  National Stock Exchange, HYD on 23.11.12
• A guest lecture by Prof. Kineera Murthy of ASCI, on Social Marketing and Corporate Social Responsibility was organized for MBA students on 3.12.12.
• An expert talk by Dr.V.Sudha of Dept of Business Management of Osmania University was conducted on 13.12.12 for MBA II yr students on Overview of Investment Management.
• A workshop on CRT for MBA I yr students by TIME institute on 28.12.12.
• CRT was organized for MBA II yrs on 4.2.13 by Ramakanth, Head, Psychologist’s Consulting Group.
• One day workshop on Entrepreneurial Development on 22^nd March, 2013 in association with ISTD for MBA students.
• MBA department organized a one-day management students meet “SHIKHARA” on 09^th April 2013.

ØFaculty Paper presentations at Conferences/Seminars

• Dr.N.Sravanthi, presented a paper on “Service Quality – The New mantra for Profitability in Housing Finance - A case study of HDFC” at the National Conference on  31.1.13 organised by CBIT.
• Dr.N.Sravanthi & Mrs.Menaka.B, “Impact of Global Economy on Recruitment Process of Indian IT Firms”, was published in the International Journal of Functional Management, International Conference on Competency Building Strategies in Business and Technology for Sustainable, (ISSN 2319 - 1406), Vol-1, Issue-1March-April 2013.
• Dr.N.Sravanthi & B.Menaka presentd a paper on “ The Role of National Housing Bank in Project Finance”,  at National seminar organized by Dept of Business Management, OU, on 15^th  March, 2013.
• B.Menaka presented a paper on “Value Added HR practices at TCS” at National Seminar organized by Dept of Business Management, OU on 1^st and 2^nd Feb, 2013, ISBN No: 978-81-7800-299-6.
