Students Workshops:

• A One day Workshop has been conducted as a Part of CRT Programme for MBA IInd Year students, the resource person was Mr. R. Krishna Prasad Chief Consultant, Excel Solutions on 14th Sep, 2011.
• A one day work shop was organized for MBA II yr students on Resume preparation and conducted Mock Interviews by Speak Eazy Consultancy and conducted mock interviews on 18th Nov,2011.(Pl find Photo No:1)
• A Five day Workshop has been conducted on “Communication and Interpersonal Skills Development” for MBA Ist Year Students in the month of Dec, 2011. (Pl find Photo No:2)

Expert Lectures Organized in the Department:

• A Guest Lecture by Mr.Vijaya Sarathi of TIME institute on soft skills on 14th Feburary 2011, for MBA II yr students.
• A Guest Lecture on “Supply Chain Management” on 15th Feburary 2011 by Dr.D.Krishna Reddy, Head, Department of Business Management, Osmania University. (Pl find Photo No:3)
• An expert lecture was delivered by Prof Kalyan Ram, ACA,ACS,ICWA, Financial Planner for Dell, on Financial Markets for MBA II yr students. (Pl find Photo No:4)
  • A Guest Lecture on “An overview of TQM” on 19th August 2011 by Mr.G.Srinivas Rao, Mech Dept, MVSREC.
  • A Guest Lecture on “Six Sigma” on 26th August 2011 by Mr.B.S.Gandhi, CSE Dept, MVSREC.
  • A Guest Lecture on “Corporate Governance” on 9th September 2011 by Mr.M.P.V Rao, Whole Time Director, Visaka Industries, HYD.

Industrial Visit:

• An Industrial Visit has been organized on 16^th Oct, 2012 at HMT Bearing Ltd. It was incorporated in the year 1964, HMT Bearings Ltd., (formerly Indo-Nippon Precision Bearings Ltd.,) located in Hyderabad, is the only company of its kind in the public sector set-up to manufacture Ball & Roller Bearings. Five Faculty accompanied 43 students for this Industrial Visit (Pl find Photo No: 6 & 7)

• Dr. N. Sravanthi delivered an expert lecturer at St. Ann’s P.G College on 9^th April, 2011 and the topic was “ An Overview of International Finance” for MBA II yr students.

• Dr.N.Sravanthi has presented a paper on “Innovations in Banking Sector -A Study on Karur Vysya Bank Ltd” at National Seminar on “Innovation Management” organized by  Gitam University on 18^th November 2011 at their Hyderabad campus.
• Ms. S.E. Pravena Reddy has presented a paper on “A study on Brand Image in Banking Sector – Special Focus on SBI and ICICI Bank at National Seminar on Branding – A Strategic tool for corporate success” Organized by University of Hyderabad on 23^rd and 24^th of February 2012.
• Ms.B.Menaka has presented a paper on “Innovative Selection Process in Axis Bank” at National Seminar, “Emerging trends in Banking and Insurance” at FAPPCCI organized by Matrusri Institute of P.G. studies in association with FAPPCCI on 5^th & 6^th March 2012.
• Ms. K.Sridivya has presented a paper on “A Study on Attrition Rate in ICICI Bank” at National Seminar, “Emerging trends in Banking and Insurance” at FAPPCCI organized by Matrusri Institute of P.G. studies in association with FAPPCCI on 5^th and 6^th March 2012.

Conference/Workshops Attended:

• Ms.Menaka.B accompanying MBA IIyr students attended a one day workshop on “Entrepreneurial Development” Organized by NSIC on 10^th February 2012at their Corporate building, HYD. (Pl.Find  Photo No:5)
  • Ms.K.Sridivya, Ms.B.Menaka, and Ms.S.E.Pravena has attended a one day workshop on Pedagogy on 25^th February 2012 in the college campus.
  • Ms.Menaka.B attended a one day  Faculty Development Program on “Effective Teaching Methods for MBA Teachers” conducted by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Institute of Management & Technology on 28^th of July, 2012.

Achievements of Students:

MBA students won prizes in the Management fests organized by various MBA Colleges in Hyderabad city i.e.,

• 1^st Prize in paper presentation competition at GUNA 2011 by Gurunanak Institutions.
• 1^st Prize in paper presentation competition at VIDHAN 2011 by Vignan Institute
• 2^nd  Prize in paper presentation competition at CASUS 2011 by Jagruthi Institute
