 Journal Publications by faculty 

• Dr.N.Sravanthi Assco.Prof and Mrs.B.Menaka, AP, authored an article titled as “A study on Employee Benefits as a Retention Strategy with reference to HDFC Ltd”, published in “Strategic HR & Business Excellence”, ISBN: 978-93-84935-24-5, published by Excellent Publishing House, Dec, 2014.

• Dr.N.Sravanthi Assco.Prof, authored a paper titled “Foreign Direct Investment In Housing Sector In India” published in Indian Journal of Technology and Business Management, Volume: 4, Issue:1, ISSN:2319-6815, Jan-March 2015.

• Mrs.M.Jyothi Prasad, AP, presented a paper on “Role of self groups in Micro Finance in India” at  National Conference on Emerging Trends in Science, Technology and Management held on 8^th and 9^th of Aug,2014 at Malla Reddy Engineering College, HYD. 

• Mrs.S.Elizabeth Pravena,AP presented a paper titled as “A study on Effective utilization of teaching enabled teaching and learning resources on 6^th and 7^th of August, 2014 at National Conference on “ Effective language learning strategies in English” organized by Government City College, Hyderabad.

• Dr.N.Sravanthi Assco.Prof, presented a paper titled “The Long Road to Financial Inclusion”, at the International Conference held at Institute of Public Enterprise, HYD during 29-30 Dec, 2014.

• Dr.N.Sravanthi Assco.Prof, presented a paper titled “Making CSR Initiatives Sustainable -A    case study of HDFC Bank at International Conference organized by NIT Graduate School of Management, Maharashtra on 27^th & 28^th Feb, 2015.

 

Conferences, workshops organized by the dept 

• The Department conducted a three day workshop on “Enhancing the Employability Skills” for MBA II yr students Aug,2014 and the resource persons were from TIME institute. 

• A workshop was organized for  the MBA II students at SEBI and NSE on the role of SEBI  and NSE in regulating the capital markets along with live demonstration of online stock trading 29^th Oct,2014.

• Dr.N.Sravanthi,Assco Prof, Ms.G.Bharathi,AP, DBM attended a one day seminar,  “Corporate Social Resposibility”, Jointly organized by Directorate of Placement Services, Osmania University,Hyderabad, ICAI , ICSI , HMA, Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence &Ramakrishna Math held on 28^th October , 2014 at   Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence,  Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad. 

• Mr.B.Anjan Kumar,AP, DBM attended a one day FDP, on  “Scaling up of Management Faculty-Contemporary Methods”, Jointly organized by HMA, and Vivek Vardhini College on 11^th Nov,2014 at Vivek Vardhini College, Hyderabad. 

• Dr.N.Sravanthi,Assco Prof, DBM attended a two day National Seminar on New Industrial Policy of Telangana State 2014, - A Critical Look, organized by CESS on 30^th and 31^st Jan, 2015. 

• Dr.N.Sravanthi,Assco Prof, DBM attended a one day training programme,  “Analytical Research Techniques using SPSS” on 25^th March, 2015  conducted by NSIC, HYD. 

• Ms.S.Elizabeth Pravena attended one day FDP on Business Simulation game on May, 2^nd, 2015, organized by HMA at Shadan College.

 

 Guest lectures by outside experts in the dept. 

• The Department conducted a three day workshop on “Enhancing the Employability Skills” for MBA II yr students addressing  the areas likes Group Discussions, Micro Topic presentations, Interview Etiquettes, Mock Interviews etc., from 21^nd ,24^th and   25^th Aug,2014 and the resource persons were from TIME institute. 

• A Guest Lecture on “Financial and Investment Planning” for the teaching faculty of MVSR Engineering College on 6^th Sep, 2014.The speaker is Prof.Teki Surayya, Head, Dept of Mgt Studies, Adikavi Nannaya University,AP and also he is empanelled resource person of SEBI and the session is sponsored by SEBI. 

• A Guest Lecture on stock markets by G.Vinayak of NSE, on primary markets on 3^rd Dec, 2014. 

• A Guest Lecture on “Business Opportunities and Innovations” by Dr.Radhika Shankar, Entrepreneur Management Consultant on 3^rd March, 2015. 

• Dept organized SHIKHARA-2015 a one day management student fest on 19^th March, 2015.

 

Plant visit 

• A plant visit to Hindustan Cococola Beverages Ltd at Moula Ali was conducted on11th Oct, 2014. A guest lecture on soft skills was organized for MBA Iyrs on 19^th Nov, and the resource persons are from TIME institute.

 

Student achievements 

• M.A.Adil,M.AZaid, D.Lohitha & T.Jahnavi won I Prize  in Debate competition at  Management Fest on18th of Dec, 2014,  organized by JNTU.

• M.A.Adil, & M.AZaid,  won I Prize  in Debate competition at  Management Fest on 2^nd March,2015, organized by Badruka College.

• M.AZaid,  won I Prize  in Debate competition at  Management Fest on 11^th March,2015, organized by CBIT.
