The Graduation Day 2014 was held at Satya Sai Nigamagamam Auditorium on 27 july 2014. ''Graduation is an exciting time for both the students and staff,'' said Dr.P.A.Sastry Principal MVSR Engineering College. “We are very proud of them as they take the next step to serve the community as skilled professionals,” he added.
Over 400 students along with their parents were present in the function, young talents from the Departments of Automobile, Civil, Computer science, Electronics, electrical, Information Technology and Mechanical engineering have graduated from our college.Sri. T. Jitendranath Secretary Matrusri Education Society, Sri. M. B. S. Purushottam member MES Sri. M. V. Vasudeva Rao Treasurer MES , Sri.K. Seetharam Babu MES and Sri. M. V. S Pavan Kumar Joint Secretary-I MES represented the College management and Graced the occasion.
ShriT.Jithendranath Secretary MES urged the students to possess leadership qualities and said “ True leaders are not threatened by the success of others....they reach back and help others succeed. This is one of the responsibilities of leadership”.
Shri.K.SeetharamBabu Member MES said “Learning is a lifelong endeavor. The minute you stop learning is the minute you cede opportunities to others. Always look to challenge and refine your thinking. View everything through the lens of learning. Life is about learning and unlearning, and developing and growing. Don’t waste your experiences – view them as learning opportunities”.
The event was graced by the presence of Hon’ble Finance Minister for the State Shri.E.Rajender as a chief guest of the function. “Consider self-employment as a viable choice for your future. There is no such thing as job security...we are NOT in the industrial age any longer. The only job security there is, is your willingness to do what it takes to combine your ideas, skills, knowledge, education, passion, and combine with all the technology options available to create your own work” was advised the graduating students. He further advised the technical students to give a thought to political career also.
Shri.N.V.S.Reddy Managing Director, Hyderabad Metro Rail Ltd and ShriC.L.Rajam Chairman, Metro India were the Guests of Honour for the day. “Graduation Day is a day to take stock of your dreams and dreams of your parents. It is a time to set new objectives,” saidShriC.L.Rajam He asked them to be integrated, empowered and committed to excellence. “You are entering a challenging world fuelled by digital revolution. He also emphasized on adaptability and change. Graduation Day is not an end of your study, learning is continuous and your mindset to learn will transform you. It is another step forward for success and more towards the goal.

Our Vice Principal Prof.S.G.S. Murthy urged the students to “focus on greater heights and to serve the society”. He appreciated the students on their achievements in academic and co-curricular areas and concluded his speech by informing the students that knowledge should be coupled with character.
The Chief Guest and the Guests of honour were felicitated with a momentos by the members of the management. The Host of the event were Mrs.D.Sirisha Asst professor and Mr.T.Sujanavan Asst professor from CSE department who did a commendable job.
