The orientation programme organised was a formal welcome to support new students as they begin their journey at MVSR Engineering College.

The programme was organised on 5^th August 2018 at MVSR Engineering College, Nadergul. The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Swami Bodhamayananda, Director of Swami Vivekananda Institute of Human Excellence, Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad, Dr. P Srinivasa Rao, Chairman, Matrusri Educational Society, Sri Jupudi Sudhakar, Secretary, Matrusri Educational Society, Sri M V Vasudeva Rao, Treasurer, Matrusri Educational Society, Dr. G Kanaka Durga, Principal, and Prof. SGS Murthy, Vice-principal, MVSR Engineering College

The programme started with lighting the lamp by the chief Guest and other dignitaries followed by an invocation song by Ms. Srilaya, and Ms. Nitisha.

The welcome address was delivered by the principal, Dr. G. Kanakadurga, who gave an elaborative list of the accomplishments and achievements of the students in studies, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The commitment of the management to enable the students excel at MVSR Engineering College was reiterated.

This was followed by the address of the Secretary, Sri Jupudi Sudhakar, who suggested that commitment, and focus towards a goal is essential for the success in life.

The Chairman, Dr. P Srinivasa Rao, addressed the students with a brief welcome note and enumerated the importance of being punctual to learn the concepts of engineering and excel in their fields.

The treasurer, Sri M V Vasudeva Rao, congratulated the students and stressed the importance of participating in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities along with the acedemics.

The incharges of the central amenities briefed about the various facilities provided at the college which included addresses by Dr, Gajanana, in charge, Exam Branch, Mr. Subash Kulkarni, in charge, Academic Section, Mr. Ashok, the Librarian, Dr.Srinivas, Physical Director, and on-campus doctor, Dr. Narender Reddy.

A brief profile of the Chief Guest was given by the vice-principal, followed by a inspiring and stimulating speech by the chief Guest, Swami Bodhamayananda, who addressed the young students explaining the importance of becoming a successful engineer and also a good citizen of the country.

The programme ended with a formal Vote of Thanks which was proposed by Ms. K. Manjula Asst. Professor, Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities.
