Material Research Lab Inauguration

Materials Research Lab (MRL) established by the Faculty, Department of Applied Sciences, has been inaugurated on 24.07.2019 at Physics Lab by the Honorable Chairman, Dr.K.P.Srinivas Rao. The members of the Management, Sri.M.Krishna Kumar, Sri. T.Jitendranath and Sri.M.V.Vasudeva Rao along with principal, Prof.G.Kanaka Durga and Vice-principal, Prof.S.G.S.Murthy and Dr.P.A.Sastry attended the inaugural of the lab.
The Materials Research Lab is an initiation from the faculty of Applied Sciences to carry out basic material research which includes synthesis, sample preparation and few physico-chemical properties. The lab at present includes major equipment like Furnace, Ultrasonicator, Thin Layer Chromatography, magnetic stirrers, Heating mantle, Distillation unit, Agate Motor and devices to measure dielectric constant, conductivity etc.
