Faculty of Chemistry arranged a guest lecture on lithium - ion batteries on the occasion of National Science Day & Sir Linus Pauling’s birth anniversary on 28-02-2019 by Dr Surendra Kumar Martha, Associate Professor IIT Hyderabad. His lecture included primary design, making of electrodes, electrolytic material of Lithium. He also elaborated his lecture on the applications of Lithium – ion batteries. His lecture enlightened the students and faculty. Finally he discussed about the re cycling of used up batteries.
