International women's day 2018

Programs were conducted from 2nd March to 8th March
Literary events were conducted on the 2nd , namely debate and essay writing.
Fun quiz, cooking competition and cultural events were conducted on the 3rd
On 6th and 7th, sports events like badminton, throwball and tenniquoit were organised.
On 8th March 2018 women's day was celebrated in MVSR Engineering College, jointly with IEEE and WPC( women protection cell).
The cheif guest of the function was Mr.Narshima Rao, in-charge SHE team, Ibrahimpatnam zone.
He was accompanied by one of his team members , who gave different examples on how to tackle various problems .
Before the beginning of the program a dance performance and a street play was conducted by the students of fine arts club and women faculty of CSE department.
The cheif guest explained that all girl students should be bold enough and report to the SHE team if there is any eve teasing or any other complaint to be made
The principal, senior professor Dr.Nalini Panyam and Dr.Madhavi also spoke. On behalf of management Sri M.B.S.Purushottam , past chairman also participated and suggested to collect more pictures of the leading women to be displayed and also explain in brief their achievements.
The function was concluded with the presentation ceremony to the winning members and also organizing members.
