Department of CSE, M.V.S.R Engineering College, Nadergul is conducting one week National workshop on “Machine learning-trends and Applications” along with hands-on using R and Python from 7-2-18 to 12-2-18.

The chief guest for the inaugural ceremony of the workshop was Prof. B. Yegnanarayana, INSA Scientist, IIIT-Hyderabad .The guest of honour was Mr. K. Srinivas, Scientist-H, Technology Director, DRDL. The inaugural commenced  with the lightening of lamp by a group of dignitaries, Vasudeva Rao, Treasurer, Matrusri education Society, Dr. G. Kanakadurga, Principal, M.V.S.R.E.C, Dr. Akhil Khare Head, CSED, Prof. J. Prasanna Kumar, CSED, Dr. B. Sandhya, Convenor of the workshop

M. Dyna, Asst. Prof CSED formally welcomed all the dignitaries. Prof. J. Prasanna  Kumar had delivered a welcome note.Dr. B. Sandhya described the importance of Machine Learning. In his address, Chief guest, Prof. B. Yegnanarayana shared his views and experiences in human Vs Machine Intelligence, Architectural mismatch. Dr. G.Kanakadurga, Principal, M.V.S.R.E.C wished success to all the participants.

The inaugural ended with a  vote of thanks by Dr. Akhil khare, Head, CSED. About  110 registered participants consisting of Faculty, research scholars , students from various colleges , organizations and industry across the country attended the inaugural of the workshop.
